Who we are

Heard Ever After is published by Kozi Publishing LLC, Orem, Utah. We are responsible for the information described here.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you ask for the free story, join a waitlist, ask to be notified about a title or send your quiz match to your inbox.
• Where you signed up: which form, the page path, and any campaign tags in the link you followed (for example, that you came from a YouTube video).
• Your consent that you are 18 or older and agree to this policy, with the time you gave it.
• A one-way hash of your IP address, used to stop abuse. We do not store your raw IP address.
• Quiz answers, stored anonymously unless you choose to email yourself the result.
• Messages you send through the contact form: your name, email, topic and message.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, whether samples are played, whether forms are submitted. The events we send never include your email or your name. These tools may set cookies; you can block them in your browser settings without losing access to the site.

Cookies

Besides analytics, the site sets a short-lived cookie after you sign up so the thank-you page can play your free chapters. It expires within a few hours. We keep campaign tags for your visit in your browser’s session storage, which clears when you close the tab.

How we use it

• To send what you asked for: the free story, a release notice, your quiz match or a reply to your message.
• To tell you about new Heard Ever After stories and offers. Every email has a way to unsubscribe.
• To understand which pages and campaigns work, in aggregate.

What we never do

• We never sell or trade your email or your data.
• We have no public profiles and no social sharing of what you listen to.
• Our emails use plain, ordinary subject lines.

Purchases and downloads

The Books 2 & 3 audio bundle is sold through Payhip and delivered through BookFunnel. When you buy or download, you are using their checkout and delivery pages, and their privacy policies apply to the payment and download details you give them. We do not see or store your card number.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email at any time. You can also ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you: contact us and choose the Privacy topic.

Adults only

The site is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has signed up, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes in a meaningful way, we update it here and change the “Last updated” date at the top.
